Welcome!! Heroz inc. is a fun, exciting and safe holiday program that is designed to provide a positive and entertaining environment for your primary school aged children over the school holidays. Not only will the kids have fantastic days filled with games, activities and prizes but they will also learn great life and social skills that encourage self esteem and positive friendships.

Week 1: 29th June – 3rd July Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego???
Come with us as with go from country to country exploring!! This week we will be visiting many countries and enjoying their culture. We will make fried rice and origami as we visit Japan; Go poncho crazy and try some yummy tacos in Mexico. We will also enjoy Sand Wizard and by popular demand, another bikes, boards and blades day. Learn to knit and compete to see who can find Carmen Sandiego!! What a week for the start of the holidays!!!
Week 2: 6th July – 10th July Survivor
Get your gear on for a rough and tough week of survival at Heroz!! Try get across the river, build a shelter with what you can find and survive the spaghetti and gumboot challenge!!! Make sure you don’t miss Fun Fab Friday with our MASSIVE SURVIVOR CHALLENGES!!! Come and join a team to compete in many games and challenges to win the ultimate trophy and prize!!!
Week 3: 13th July – 17th July Mix me Up
For those continuing the holiday fun, join us as we mix up our week with lots of fun activities and games!! Make your own café, wear your crazy hair and party it up on Friday as we celebrate back to school!! What a fun last week!!
Fab Fun Fridays!!!
Make sure you don’t miss our new look Fridays. Every Friday will be our big finish for the week and will include things like, super treasure hunts, jumping castles and wet days. Have a look at our program to see what’s on, but you won’t want to miss out.
Who can use Heroz Inc?
We run on a first in first serve basis, so hurry in and book your places!!
Children must be aged between 5-12 years of age and must be currently attending primary school or the equivalent. The Vacation Care Team Leader can help you with any queries regarding the inclusion of children with additional needs. Heroz Inc. firmly believes and supports the inclusion of all children into Vacation Care Programs.
Our Staff Here at Heroz inc. we are committed to giving your children the best holiday experience in a safe and welcoming environment. Our fully qualified and blue card approved child care workers, have all been trained in child protection policies and procedures and are skilled in working with large groups of children. A first aid officer will also be rostered on at all times. Heroz staff posses a high standard of work ethic and values. It is a priority to create a happy, engaging atmosphere and interact with children in a warm and friendly way.
When is Heroz Inc. open? Heroz Inc. runs Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Please notify the centre as early as possible if your child will not be attending. We require 48 hours notice before a fee is incurred. Late fee: A fee of $1 per minute will apply for children who remain in care after 6pm. All persons who collect children must be listed on the Child’s Registration Form. No child will be released to an unauthorised person.
Our Location We are located at the Kings Christian Church “Champions Centre”, Cnr Crosby Hill RD and Tanawha Tourist Drive. Just follow the signs down the hill to the Kids hub.
How much does it cost? Cost is $35 per day per child or $175 per week with government subsidies available.
Excursions
There will be an extra fee on excursion days. This will cover the entrance to the excursion and staff to care for the groups. There is a 1:8 child to staff ratio to provide quality care while on excursions. If your child is booked on an excursion day, it is compulsory for them to attend, as no one will be supervising at the hub.

What should my children bring?
Children should bring a packed lunch, morning and afternoon tea. They must bring appropriate clothing for seasonal changes and excursions. Children should wear closed in shoes.
Heroz’ Sun Protection guideline states that it is compulsory for all children and staff to wear hats, sunscreen, and sun protective clothing whilst participating in outdoor activities.
